Many folks travel to this area for recreation (hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, hiking and more). The next time you come our way on highway 395, plan to visit us on a Sunday morning at 10:00am. We also have special teaching for children.
All are always welcome at Sierra Baptist Church in Independence, California.
We are available for spiritual counsel and teaching of biblical principles for living.
Our priority
Our ministry is people. God loves people and we do too. There is nothing more important on our agenda than to introduce people to Jesus Christ and teach them to know God and His Son Jesus as revealed in the Scriptures. Together, we purpose to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
